It’s a smart pick, but it’s not a fun pick. Beefing up the lines is never a bad idea.

Supposedly this kid is a freak show in a good way and I would have been fine with a DT in the third round but spending 36 on what’s probably the last position they need to add depth to is a bit deflating.

Also what a waste of a pick Phil Mathis was. A second round pick two years ago and he’s already had his replacement drafted.
