You’re assuming there was a choice. Varsho was a great add. We all hoped it would be Kirk going but they may not have been interested in himCan't believe we kept him over moreno

Did a quick check and Kirk has a 118 wRC in the month of May. That's really good.
The problem is the older players on the team. Springer, KK, and Turner have sucked. I didn't like the Turner signing and he's been worse than I thought, KK wasn't needed. Vogelbach needed to go 8 weeks ago. As has been said many times by you and others, it's still mind-boggling they don't give the younger hitters a chance.
Sure, especially with the added control. But in terms of performance they've been almost identical since the trade. If you gave me a choice between Moreno and Kirk going forward right now I'd take Moreno and it wouldn't be particularly close.

Turner leads the team with a 172 wRC+ against LHP this season, and a lefty is starting for the Pirates tonight.I don't know why they are forcing JT to hit 5th. IKF is hot, hit him 5th and drop JT down to 7th or 8th till he gets hot again

IKF has also been good against LHP this season, but only a 117 wRC+ which is much lower in comparison.
Yeah the jerseys don't bother me at all. I do agree about the hat.The more I see the jerseys the more I think they're fine. Not great/amazing, but definitely better than most of the city connect jerseys.
The hat is still super lazy though. Would've been better to do a blue/red outline version of the regular Jays logo so it looked like a neon sign.
You sound so surprised. No run support so far thru 5 innings for Berrios.
Chris Farley comes through
