White? So we are giving up on that game?
He's supposed to be better now. He looked better in the spring too.

Dunno when i watch him pitch i still see the same pitcher as before. Only a matter of time before his ERA goes up imo. He's supposed to be better now. He looked better in the spring too.

think I seen her on opening day, she was in the back right, but nothing in game 2 or 3Just thought of it, and haven't paid attention to it, but has the Blue Jays' grandma been sitting behind the plate at all these first three games?
Flop sauntering around the bases after his HR, thinking he’s a star, angered the baseball gods.
Seriously, someone needs to tell him to quit embarrassing himself until he hits 50.
His antics….Pretty critical home run, not sure how that’s embarrassing.
.229 WPA added from that hit, not his fault one of those BIPs couldn’t drop in the 9th for the win.
Home plate lady was there on opening nightJust thought of it, and haven't paid attention to it, but has the Blue Jays' grandma been sitting behind the plate at all these first three games?

Who knows, maybe the baseball gods didn’t like it either

I’m not talking about a bat flip. I’m not a big fan of the little dance after rounding second, the thing at third, and then before he touches home plate. But if Soto or Acuna does it then it’s fine? Let the guy have fun.
Didn’t Vogelbach flip his bat on the walk? Criticize him.
Not even mad at Mayza. Jays offence had a huge opportunity in the 9th and blew it, it should have never gone to extras. Why people crapping on Mitch White when Mayza was the one that blew the game

FYI, Acuna is a superstar.

Appreciate the reply bro you went above and beyond for sureThe top percentile throwers are typically in the 30-40% CS range, with elite being 40%+. Realmuto for instance has caught anywhere from 22% to 47% over the course of a full season. 22% being last season of course, which was a notable down year for quite a few catchers (Realmuto, Raleigh, Maldonado, Rutschman, Kirk, Murphy, etc.) likely due to the new rules and base sizes.
Only guy that I can see consistently hit 30%+ in this recent era has been Yan Gomes. Moreno certainly has the potential to do that as well, while also being elite at blocking. What he struggles at is pitch framing which is slightly below average, like Kirk's throwing. So essentially both players have 2/3 of the defensive elements at an elite level with another one lagging behind.
His velocity is back up.Hoping Gausman's feeling good tonight. I guess we'll see how h is velocity is. Bullpen needs a rest, even with the day off.
