Have they have played someone on a hunch?? Or is it all numbers BTW without looking Davis avg is probably better than most on this team lmao bunch of lightweights.

Getting a .740 ops season out of Kiermaier last year is like being up 80 % on a meme coin and refusing to cash out. We got a great year out of him but I really don't think he's going to repeat.

Today it should be Biggio and Schneider at 2B and LF and Varsho in CF, imo.

He just does what he's told. There's a reason they put in a rookie manager on a team that was supposed to contend - he wouldn't offer any pushback.

These guys are acolytes of the Billy Beane philosophy - your manager is just there to sit and look pretty, the analytics team makes all the important decisions.

We're all going to be losing our minds all season again for not sending runners. I've accepted it at this point.

VLAD barely hitting .200
5-9 in the lineup is the worst in baseball

Sounds like a good offense.

Just went through an entire season where a 1-0 deficit often felt insurmountable.

Atkins tries the same thing this season and expected different results?

Definition of insanity (and probably stupidity too).

Unreal how he turned a promising roster 4 years ago into one of the mid-est teams in the league.

Did these guys make any adjustments in the off season? Same shit different year.

Still early but a lot of bad warning signs that suggest this offense is going to be shit again

What did you expect? They kept most of the same players and most of the same coaches.

They added one solid bat in the offseason when they needed at least two.

Somehow Atkins still has defenders.

Should attempt to steal every time he's at bat. Dude just hits worms all day.

He's a giant black hole offensively because he doesn't hit for power, he can't run, and he is an auto dp against any pitcher that can get him to top a ball.

Kirk needs to sell out for homeruns because hitting it on the ground has hardly any positive outcomes.
 
Brutal at bat by Vladdy. In that situation and at that point of the game you've got to get the ball in play and cash in those runs. Just brutal.
