You really noticed the improved defense with Clement in there over Bichette. Obviously Bichette is an everyday player and his hitting makes him one a team MVP type, but the team needs to come up with a better balance of offence and defense.

has Bo ever really got much time at 2B? He seems better suited for 2nd, Clement at SS and IFK at 3B.

Bo had 8 errors all last season at short. He's improved enough to not be a liability.

But there's only one way to find out. I'd rather find out sooner rather then later.

I'm just not a fan of having two defensive specialists in LF and CF. One is enough. Playing Schneider in LF and Varsho in CF could improve the offence. If it doesn't work, just go back to Kiermaier in CF and Varsho in LF. And I'm not saying play him 7 games a week but 4 or 5 games a week would be ideal.

This is why I didn’t want KK back. I wanted a big bat in LF with Varsho good enough to cover a noy so great defensive lf

I'd swap White and Francis. White showed the velo spike while he was a starter for Buffalo last year. Francis in the pen plays up, White in the rotation doesn't drop off.

You think the bullpen and the back end starting depth is fine for a team hoping to be in playoffs?

I do agree it's more so the hitting depth but for a playoff team to a lesser extent we're hoping kikuchi pitches like last year not the year before, but then we're hoping manoah can return to form and Bowden Francis is a starter assuming no injuries to the top 3 guys. A lot of hope.
