Their only hope on offense is that Springer/Vladdy/Kirk improve over last year.

Otherwise they didnt do much to address it, we all know that. If those players don't significantly improve over last year, then it'll be another rough season offensively.

Will take more than the star players to bounce back I think people who pin all the offensive trouble on Vlad are delusional. Yes it was a rough season for him last year but he still got a decent amount of RBIs and was not protected at all the pitchers could throw around him like they wanted. The bottom of the lineup has to do better as long as the bottom of the lineup does nothing pitchers will be able to throw around Vlad and Bo as much as they want.

Small samples obviously but Clement and Biggio at the bottom looks like it'll go a ways to helping alleviate that problem.

The biggest thing they need aside from Vladdy finding hisform are a bounceback from Kirk to his 2022 form and at least a small uptick from Varsho. Better Springer would be nice but I'm not betting on that given his age and injury history and the way guys with his profile tend to break down.
 
Yeah that was not something I expected there wasnt anything wrong done by the rays player.

Nothing really wrong with Cabrera either. He was backing up the play and Caballero ran into him as he over-ran the bag.

Cabrera shouldn't have shoved him, but Caballero should've chilled the hell out after their meaningless collision.
 
Please don't play Vogelbach, IKF, or Kiermaier tomorrow. Play the young guys and see what you have. Drop Varsho down to 7th.

Jays didn’t make any major roster changes and are having the same issues as last season.

Colour me shocked!

Would you bet money on them turning it completely around?

Because we said the same thing last season. First it was only 3 games. Then it was only 25 games. Then it was only 80 games. Then it was maybe they’ll turn it around for the playoffs. We all know how that went.

Atkins signing a 38 year old Turner to be the solution to the offensive woes from last year isn’t good.

I think I heard that they’ve been one game under 500 each of the last two or three seasons. On paper,Tampa should be better than that
