What puzzle me the most is they are still not stealing bases. It's not a team with lot of power. If they don't steal bases again this year i think they'll still be middle of the pack in run scored. I mean there's a couple of guys with decent speed in this lineup they should be more aggressive on base they are not built for the big inning.Schneiders lineup today hurts my eyes to look at already. Hopefully they somehow pull out a win but alot of pressure on the top guys today given whose hitting below.
Yeah i mean you can argue there's a bunch of non regular guys tonight but like you said it's game 3 you don't need to rest players on game 3 so those guys are part of the coach's plan to win this season on a semi regular basis at least.Vogelbach and Varsho hitting 4-5 in game 3 of the season is not a good look.
I think they need to give a chance to kids at 2nd base and 3rd base (kids being not Biggio). I don't see any other solutions if they want to go all the way to a ws.coming into this season it was obvious that the offense was going to be abysmal.
And they didn’t address it.
So the offense was a f***ing fraud last year
We did nothing
The offense is still f***ing putrid.
Weird
Also agree it’s game 3. Everyone here was also saying relax it’s early blah blah. Next thing you know the seasons doneA fraudulent offense would actually have required them to score runs which they didn’t do last year either.
The team is pretty much the same as last year.
That being said it’s literally game 3. No need to lose your mind
Why do we sign scrubs i.e Vogelbach and give them opportunities over our young talent i.e Horwitz?
Pretty rough looking offence early on. As much as I like Turner, I wasn’t sold on him, IKF, and Vogelbach being the difference they needed from last year
They made Littell look like a cy young tonight. I mean he has 18 starts in career and he's not very good.Well, aside from a couple good innings in game 1, they've been pretty bad offensively so far, cant seem to make adjustments.
