WJC: 2024 Team Canada Roster Talk - Part 1

Coach consideration for line-ups based on exhibition games:

*games should have been played on international ice so that players who are adept on international ice can display their skills and players with average speed and puck skills are more easily identified:

Also, if I were in Canada's management group, I'd be calling Kyle Davidson and telling him that with Bedard being the only guy in Chicago who's producing, he could accidentally make the Blackhawks win too many games and lessen their chances of getting first overall again. Send him to Sweden where he can't do any more damage.

Not normal, but normal for them to talk to teams and get an idea of the chances a guy is released. They might think they have a legit shot at getting someone

lol, Bedard not going to this World Juniors has been obvious since before last World Juniors

Donovan should be there if this was the case, but that obviously has nothing to do with it whatsoever.

The great story is being passed by the NHL twice and making the WJ team.
