Sorry Bobbo, nothing but respect for your insights over the past 10 years I’ve been here, but you just don’t have IT anymore IMO.

Not in the era of this air tight front office.

You may have missed it but I’ve made it very clear that many of my long time contacts are either retired or dead. I don’t have the active contact network I used to have but I still have a handful of friends around the game. I always try to differentiate between “someone told me” and “this is what I think”. That’s why I watch over 100 games a year to scout around the league.

Unfortunately, I never had an inside source with the Rangers. I’ve always been dependent on others for Ranger insight. Still have 1-2 good sources who occasionally have insight.

Better than I remember. I thought he looked really rough last year during the playoffs but that may have been a function of playing with a shitty partner.
