Adam Fox....Who actually "develops" here? Okay, I am being an asshole. Sorry. Thank Jim Beam extra aged.
This team had too many holes to "really go for it"....more than trading our first rounder could hope to fix. I'm happy Drury kept his eye on the long-term without screwing up the team with moves similar to last year.Hmm, I was actually hoping to move our first and really go for it, but if the deals weren't there, the deals weren't there. I'm glad we didn't move Othmann or Gabe. Glad we didn't move Kakko.
Yeah, just wish we had utilized our first and some prospects, but there has to be another partner for that to actually work.
Boo! lol
Like? Trouba? Nothing was happening at the deadline for him or Lindgren.Because we have much bigger holes .
That's fair. There was no way we were fixing Trouba/Lindgren at the deadline. Those are off-season moves. Ziibby too.I am, I said like 2 posts ago that I'm giving Drury an A for his restraint.
We retained the assets to go get what really matters - big game hunting for a 1C and first pair D come the offseason when we can dump Trouba and maybe Mika.
I woulda swore Nic Dowd and his 41% 5v5 Corsi this year woulda been a hot commodity, so weird.
That right side is garbage... and has zero depth.Like? Trouba? Nothing was happening at the deadline for him or Lindgren.
Doesn't matter what they do == We've been at that big crossroads all along....come summer, Drury will have some/more flexibility to begin making real changes.Smart by Drury to generally show restraint.
If this group flops again this franchise is gonna be at another big crossroads this summer.
