The current group of young core players I am sure want to start being competitive. I know it's a rebuild but adding a decent piece or 2 doesn't mean the rebuild is over...it just moves the team forward a bit quicker.
You are right. The current group of young core players I am sure want to start being competitive. I know it's a rebuild but adding a decent piece or 2 doesn't mean the rebuild is over...it just moves the team forward a bit quicker.
I was on the sign no one train, but I was thinking earlier, maybe signing someone that can help unlock Dach is not a bad idea. You are right.
Lost in all of this is the need for Dach to develop. He needs wingers asap so he can produce and grow.
Kind of surprising he was good down the stretch and he makes nothing.
He already did the impossible last year by trading the Hoff and received positive assets for him. If The Hoff can get traded anybody can. Dvorak at the very least should be tradeable. I think a stupid GM could bite on the Dumb Donkey in a creative trade as well.If Hugo is able to trade one of Anderson, Dvorak or Gallagher I think he deserves the title of GM of the decade .
Bertuzzi.Debrusk is the best fit IMO. Not much else I’d chase.
Kind of surprising given how he played there.
Not going to work for Anderson unless those couple of picks are 2 first rounders.cmon use a couple of picks and get rid of Dvorak and Anderson
The worm is done.Would you guys like to see Perry back ?
Not my first choice but I would not be against it. Could help the pp.
put armia instead lets goNot going to work for Anderson unless those couple of picks are 2 first rounders.
I could not stand Armia 2 years ago but I thought he was pretty good in the second half of last season all things considered. I think he's tradeable. Anderson is in another league of uselessness.put armia instead lets go
Boqvist is always injured, his longest season in the last 4 was 52 games.Kind of surprising he was good down the stretch and he makes nothing.
I'm fairly sure he is talking about NylanderBoqvist is always injured, his longest season in the last 4 was 52 games.
Stamkos to the Panthers?! That would be hilarious.
I could see a David Perron in Montreal on a slight overpay short contract. Or another winger on the same kind of contract. Hard to imagine anything else... Maybe a depth vet defenseman?
I’d take a flyer on both those guys
I've seen a few posts from Fig fans over the past few weeks thinking Perron may be a good pickup for the Figs because he apparently loved playing for Berube so that does make some sense for a win now team like the Figs.I could see a David Perron in Montreal on a slight overpay short contract. Or another winger on the same kind of contract. Hard to imagine anything else... Maybe a depth vet defenseman?
