I figured he was doing his job. But what do I know? You're the ball-washing expert.
The step to something else likely isn't with the Red Sox. Ownership with an expansion franchise or MLB commissioner is the way I took it.Coming from the Globe it is very hard for me to believe any of that.

Just a reminder of the greatness of Rickey Henderson.
Rickey had some crazy numbers. He went 19 consecutive seasons having more (one equal season) walks than strikeouts.Ricky walked 800 times to lead off an inning.
He is the best lead off hitter ever.Rickey had some crazy numbers. He went 19 consecutive seasons having more (one equal season) walks than strikeouts.
When you can lock up all stars from 2017 you have to strike!Glad to see they've jumped ahead to 2025, after doing nothing this season.
Just a reminder of the greatness of Rickey Henderson.
You just went to number one on my HF poster power rankingsJust asking, is it weird that I put on 80s and 90s playoff games on youtube in the background while I'm at work?
I would love KimWhat can you get for Durran??
I remember reading about this guy after his big rookie seasonIn before we get any "low risk reclamation project for Andrew Bailey to work his magic with" takes

AgreeHe is the best lead off hitter ever.
I didn’t know for years when he broke Lou Brock record he was imitating Ali when he said ‘I’m the greatest of All Time’Rickey had some crazy numbers. He went 19 consecutive seasons having more (one equal season) walks than strikeouts.
I agree with you 100% about Guaranteed Rate Field (or whatever the hell they are calling it this year). I also agree with you regarding the preliminary design renderings. That said, given the dysfunction in the Chicago City Council/Mayor's Office, I'd give this about a 5-10% chance of actually happening. Related (the developer who owns this land) has been throwing shit at the wall for a while now, trying to figure out what to do with this piece of land.New Comiskey is my least favorite park in the entire league (worse than Tropicana and Oakland IMO). It had the unfortunate timing where it was the last of the cookie cutters that opened right before Camden Yards revolutionized ballpark architecture and aesthetics altogether. The Trop may be objectively worse but New Comiskey makes me mad for being a cookie cutter relic that was obsolete two years after it opened.
These mockups are great, it mirrors a lot of Old Coniskey's charm with those RF grandstands and isn't entirely closed off and cavernous like the New Comiskey, leaving space for the backdrop of downtown Chicago. Love it.
