Mets offense finally wakes up this series today. Disappointed that we only got the split with how terrible the Marlins are though, especially with the Yankees and Braves coming up next.

With the way the Braves are trending I dont think it's out of the question the Mets catch them. They are 35-36 since May 1st. That's about a month before Acuna got injured. They are basically a .500 team.

On a night where they got the gift of an Astros loss against the A's too.

Already without Juliot tonight, they had Crawford leave that game after a HBP on his right hand...

Mets bullpen with maybe their best performance of the season holding on to beat the Yankees 3-2! Mets win the regular season series against the Yankees (3-0) with the last game of the Subway Series tomorrow.

Judge seemed stunned Diekman was actually throwing strikes to him.

Rangers squeeze out another W against the White Sox to make trade deadline decisions more complicated for their FO.

Mariners and Astros losing by 3+ runs to teams they should beat so far.

Lol . Astros came into this series flying high and got humbled real quick. . Texas might be just 3 back after tonight. This division will come down to the last week yet again.

The Mariners are basically the 2015 Mets. Exact same 53-50 record after 103 games too.

Can they find their Cespedes? With J-Rod and Crawford hitting the IL today, it looks bleak.

Red Sox getting crushed at Coors.

Monster Pirates W this afternoon, they had to have it against the Cards. Now just a 1 game gap between the 2. In fact, 5 teams are separated by 1 game for 2 WC spots. :eek3:

Reds continue to be a bizarre enigma of a team. Sweep the Yankees in NY. Get swept at home by DET. Get swept in WSH. Win first 2 games in ATL.

The lifeless, paper thin Yankees well on their way to being swept by the Mets in the 4 game season series. Sleepy Aaron Boone going through the motions. George is rolling over in his grave!

The Mariners sinking ship continues to sink, somehow swept *at home* by the Angels.
They got what they deserved when the crowd booed them off the field. Such an inept offense that only scored a single run in each of the 3 games against a bottom 5 pitching staff in the Angels.

Always nice seeing the Mets beat the Yankees, especially tonight for how much we dominated them and clinched a 4 game season series sweep.
