Bob looking for goaltender interference again lmao
He gets scored on and immediately looks at the ref to save him for something. It's f***ing pathetic. Hope the Rangers can keep it up and knock them out.

If you're a true Panthers hater I think you should be rooting for them to lose in the finals rather than the conference finals.
While comical and the prospect of that happening would be fantastic, I'm not comfortable seeing them get to Dallas and suddenly Otter crumbles or they fold like a cheap tent.

Dallas vs Rangers, Rags in 6.

NY Rangers, Dallas, ... Panthers, ... Oilers

  • Keep the Cup in the States
  • Why not let the Rangers get a Cup? They've given us so many good players (Stralman, Boyle, Callahan, McDonagh, Miller, ...)

Probably the most annoying thing about the Panthers success in these last few seasons isn't because of on-ice stuff, it's because (compared to us) the Panthers are affiliated with a more desirable market. Tampa vs. Miami...the NHL would've rather the Panthers been the big Florida success story than us, all things being equal the Panthers would be the more valuable franchise in the NHL's eyes.

Means precious little but it's just a thought I've had recently.
I remember just before we won our first cup (and even a few years after), people consistently wanted to contract/relocate us and keep Florida even though we were more the more successful team in attendance and other measures by far.

Rooting extremely hard for the Stars as I've said. Really like their organization/team and their fans are a good bunch for the most part, certainly better than nearly every other fanbase.

Betteman is probably sacrificing every goat, child, woman he can get his hands on to have a Rangers and Stars finals.

Coop is on the Dias as the Mr TNT trophy winner..😎. He’s brilliant, and when talking about Perry, he says he calms the bench when “the cheese is sliding off the cracker”. F in hilarious. A gem

If there is a Panthers-Oilers final I will genuinely hope the NHL just collapses.
If that Final happens, I'm forced to cheer for the Panthers simply because I want the Cup to stay in the States, the media rage/conspiracy theories north of the border are too glorious to lose now.

If the Cats and Oilers square off, I want the Cats to win. Like, ALL THE WAY.

Yeah I don't like them but something about the Oilers falling back asswards into 2 of the best players of all time by nothing else than dumb luck just pisses me off so much. Imagine winning 4 Cups with Gretzky because of Winnipeg's GM being all "hurr de durr, Gretzky too small. Dey gunna hurt himb. Durr de hurr" and then about 35 years later, proceed to do the equivalent of defying gravity and falling up a flight of stairs without breaking the eggs in your hand and getting McDavid. Like the Cup they won with just Messier and the gang is the hard one and I respect it. It was a testament to how well they were built. And I'm not saying Cup 6 would come any easier despite having McDavid. But when you consider what the Lightning had to do in order to get where they did all 3 times, I just wanna holler "f*** off" and I have far more sympathy for the Cats fans and the misery they suffered for 20 years. And they built like we did and now reap the joys of it

This is wild. 'What the lightning did'

You mean tank and draft Lecavalier, Stamkos and Hedman? Then job the salary cap?

Holy lack of self-awareness, Batman.

Tank? Bud in 1997 we were the most pathetic club in professional sports. Your star goalie's career is over because of back spasms, your 1C sustains career ending concussions and your 2C gets cancer. All at once. Oh yeah and you are completely bankrupt and suck so bad we didn't even win Vinny with our own pick. Now fast forward to 2007 and the only NHL caliber players on your entire team are Lecavalier, St. Louis, Richards and Boyle and you lose 5-3 every night because you flat out suck. The rest belong in the AHL. But your dumb f*** owner hires Barry Melrose to fix it and orders your GM to trade Stamkos in sheer incompetence. We have literally never tanked in history. We have had competent ownership twice and won Cups with them

Also Kucherov had a torn hip labrum after playing the bubble on a bad groin. Torn labrums frequently go months without detection until one day you feel a click and your joint has given out entirely. Funny everyone forgets we waived Tyler Johnson a week before

This sucks. I was hoping Dallas vs Rangers and we are going to end up with 2-man Oilers vs Florida. Florida is going to beat the piss out of Edmonton and it's gonna go 5 max. I'm stunned the Rangers have laid such an egg. Dallas fumbling against Skinner is wild. If I was Nill I'd trade Benn and Seguin, shed those contracts and do life with your new core.

I'm sour about this final four and the likelihood Florida wins this.
