My hope is they sign one of Lindholm / Stephenson / Monahan to centre Keller and Schmaltz.

Potentially now but likely for sure at deadline. What’s available for assets is the question? We have enough picks.
They need to trade for at least 1 NHL D before free agency starts.
IMO, making trades during this draft will be GMBA's legacy. He has got to make this team look more competitive than they look right now and that D looks dismal, no NHL contracts, no big blue liner to keep the crease clear...
As far as rotating players, it's always good to be able to send players back and forth without worrying because of waiver-exempt status. Why I'm expecting to see 8Ds & 13Fs on the roster opening game.
It was interesting that Keller was asked on the Utah Puck Report podcast about switching back to #19 as it’s no longer retired. Keller said he hadn’t thought about it. I wonder if Josh Doan takes it.

I’d understand if he wanted his own legacy be it #91 or some other but it would be great to also establish himself as the first #19 just as Shane did. Especially considering the franchise parallels.

Josh already stated his intent to do so. Guess they haven't discussed between the two.

Also in the Roadrunners thread. But the coaches are hired by Utah.
Potvin and Co are a good group. This is good news for the overall organization.
It's the biggest gap for sure. If they want to compete for a playoff spot they need at least 1 top 4 Dman and ideally 2. The cost of adding a 1C would be too prohibitive...plus the forward group is good enough and getting better.
A few thoughts:....Hague, Perblix, Reilly, Girard, Kylington, Skjei....even OEL. Maybe a combo of an older Dman on short-term deal and a younger guy who has the opportunity to develop.

Clearly doesn’t seem like that, they wouldn’t have these postings if they were going to SLC. Makes sense to have a new TV team for a new “franchise”
