They re-signed the guys worth re-signing, added OL depth, a solid RB to complement Stevenson, and the exact type of guy you'd want as QB2/mentor to a high pick.
But you know, they didn't spend 100 mil on day one so clearly they failed.

looking back on it it’s kinda f***ed up Belichick tried to fill that pass catching back role with Ty Montgomery in back to back seasons. It ended up being Elliott last year but I don’t think that was necessarily by design.

Mac is gone - I wish Zappe & Jones well in life and professionally. I don’t dislike either in fact I really like Zappe from his home draft stuff
He’s got his strengths I love the way he moves up in pocket, doesn’t quit, can run, and believes in himself
If Brady or Burrow or Cousins etc was QB1 I’d be comfortable with BZ as the backup
But for this team with Maye or Daniels coming in we can’t have him here
I actually like Zappe!!!!
