I know we're onto a new era, but I'm glad more ex-players are speaking what we knew was going on.

It was a MESS bts.

Lol crapping all over a Head Coach that brought The Patriots and it's ungrateful fans 6 Super Bowl victories! Wow!
Did you watch the entire conversation? He praises Bill as a coach too. Two things can be true about Bill. It was time for a change, AND he was a good guy. But that final season before Harris signed with the Bills was a clusterf***. It's okay to acknowledge that and be excited about the future of this franchise.

I will ALWAYS thank Bill for 6 superbowls. But he also was a prick.

Now, he is entering an even tougher quarterback competition with veteran Jacoby Brissett, as well as rookies Drake Maye and Joe Milton III also in the mix.

He received praise from quarterbacks coach T. C. McCartney earlier this week.

“He’s a pro’s pro. This is the NFL,” said McCartney, via NESN.com’s Keagan Stiefel. “He’s started games. He’s won games. He beat us when I was in Cleveland, so I have a ton of respect for Bailey. He’s a pro’s pro, comes to work and does whatever is asked. He’s been good so far.”

Ungrateful??? I don’t think so.

I remember saying to anyone who would listen before last season started that Bill was on the hot seat. Certainly not because of anything he was doing on the sidelines, but because of his AWFUL personnel decisions. They are numerous and well-documented. Bill turned chicken shit into chicken salad so many times, he thought he could do it every time. You can’t expect to take a guard from Nowhere U. and turn him into an NFL left tackle. You might get lucky once in a while, but when your entire plan is drafting overlooked diamonds in the rough who interview well in the meeting room, eventually your luck runs out.

Bill would never completely relinquish control of the personnel department, and without the GOAT to cover up the lack of talent, even Bill’s coaching couldn’t get them more than 4 wins. It really was time to move on. What, was he going to coach here forever? I really wanted Belichick to break Shula’s record on the Patriots sideline, but his (Belichick’s) arrogance and stubbornness ensured that wasn’t to be. A change HAD to be made.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but please don’t ever think that *I’m* ungrateful. I was a Patriots fan back when I was the only Patriots fan I knew, so I know what time it is. The time had come to move on, and almost everyone could see that.

So, thank you to Tom, Bill, Bob and everyone else who made the six Super Bowls possible. Thank you for years of good times and great memories.

Thing is this offseason has shown that it wasn't entirely a Bill issue either. For all the complaints about him not getting big FA or making big trades, it's become apparent that the main reason behind that is Kraft won't spend the money.

They went into the offseason with $100m in cap space, a new brain trust, a lot of needs, and a lot of good options on the FA market. They came out of the FA period with resigning their own players, bringing in a mid level FA and sitting on $46m of cap space. It doesn't get any cheaper than that, spend no money and bring back the same guys who just went 4-13

IDK maybe Mac wasn't in a good headspace because the bog people chanted his backups name every time he sneezed in the wrong direction.

Any before any bog people get offended, I married one thank you very much!

Do you live paycheck to paycheck? I don’t.

Let’s pretend the Pats spent all the way to the cap and maxed out.

Then there’s no money left if another team cuts a very good player in training camp for salary cap reasons. No money left for anyone else to join the team in case of injury. What then?

I’m going to give this new brain trust at least one season before I condemn them. You may very well be correct, but let’s at least have a fair trial before we order the execution.

Wes Welker is such a loser came across awfully during the Kraft hit piece docuseries and now hes whining that he wasn't invited to present at the Roast but was too p***y to attend in case someone roasted him. No wonder we didn't win anything when he was playing for us.

Harris isn't saying anything we already didn't know. It's just nice to see the boys also felt the same way about all the odd coaching hires. Pats did Jones dirty after a promising rookie year.
McDaniels left yeah they made a horrendous OC hire but Jones was a 2nd year QB that had the playbook shrunk and game managed OK as a rookie. What were they supposed to do let him pick the OC? He got that year 3 and just got even worse.

Bill's ego was out of control and it was exposed badly without TB12 but he just needed to hit on one WR like Brown or Metcalf and hes probably still our HC for another 5+ years and we are counting down to him catching Shula.

yep he got his OC from Alabama and was told that was supposed to fix his issues

Does anyone think we bring Damien Harris back if he gets cut by the Bills? I doubt he makes their 53 man roster.

I really hope we focus on one more tank and don't let Maye see the field. What would be best is to start Jacoby and play him until the trade deadline then try and flip him for a decent pick if a playoff team needs a QB. Then see if Zappe or Milton can play their way into a trade for a draft pick while we bottom out. Get something for Bourne and Henry.

Rodgers will have 8-9 great games for NJY and then they will fall apart and the Bills might really come unravelled if Allen starts turning it over a ton with no receivers and then starts to run and takes big hits. Tua is 1 hit away from being done Tyreek is getting old we could be in it for the division in 2025 very easily.
