Eiserman just because of the way his name is pronounced :) From the style Ivan Demidov. Both because I do not see us draft #1st overall.

According to Eiserman's prospect thread he is an undersized one dimensional shooter. Doesn't seem like a Verbeek pick from what I have been reading.

This draft is full of big high end defenders or small wingers. I can see us taking a D to fortify the position and add some extra size to counter Zellweger and Drysdale.

These are the guys I'm keeping an eye on this year. Soft ranking positions atm but as you can see only one forward over 6' and he is probably is out of the top 10 which is definitely where we will be picking.

Eiserman now listed as 6'0 on Tankathon. They appear to have updated player heights.

Eiserman is the top winger in the draft followed by Demigod, Helenius and Catton. All projected top10 picks. Celebrini is the only Center in top10.

Killorn/Carlsson/Terry
Zegras/McTavish/Demigod

Or if they win #2 pick again:
Eiserman/Carlsson/Terry
Killorn/McTavish/Zegras.

Damn good top6s.

Damn good top6s.

Seeing how lacking of offensive power we are without Carlsson and Killorn, I hope our first pick is an offensive forward b/c we can't find top-6 forwards beyond the top-10 selections. Most of the top-10 forwards are on the shorter/smaller side. But Logan Cooley is a jitterbug at 5'10, but he's quite dynamic at the NHL level during pre-season.

A tall/big forward who might rise into the top-10 could be winger Emil Hemming. He's 6'2 and 196 lbs scoring winger as a 17-year old. It looks like he has a fast start in his U20 team that he's recently jumped up into Liiga team, has 3 goals in 7 games. Emil is not ranked in tankathon's first round, ranked 29th on MyNHLDraft, and Craig Button's Sept ranking has Emil 9th overall.

At the same time, it feels hard to pass up the trees in the defensemen in the top-10 as well.

When's the last time you posted something positive about the team?
We have been one of the worst teams ever statistically and the softest roster in team history. This year is more of the same. Also imo missed a chance a to draft a franchise center who happens to play a style missing. What positive is there exactly? I guess some of the offensive dmen this team is loaded with are close to being in the NHL what else?
