I doubt it goes this way for Utah but I would be stoked.

Why this is?Gotta replace Langlois. We only have him for 2 more days.
Hoping Levshunov slides, expecting Buium, won't be disappointed with Dickinson either. If Levshunov was available at 6 - yes.
If we don’t sign him tomorrow his rights expire and he re-enters the draft. I was joking about needing to replace him, but it’s still true none the less. Why this is?
Is there a cause BA would not resign him. Thought he was looking good no?If we don’t sign him tomorrow his rights expire and he re-enters the draft. I was joking about needing to replace him, but it’s still true none the less.
Craig Morgan has mention multiple times in the past about management not exactly being impressed with his development thus far. No real specifics given as far as I can recall. I’d be surprised if he’s signed before the June 1st deadlineIs there a cause BA would not resign him. Thought he was looking good no?
I was a fan of the pick. It’s hard enough to reach your fullest potential when you don’t flush an entire development year down the toilet.I understand your concerns about drafting too many defensive D-man prospects. However, do not count out Duda. He still has great potential to be an excellent offensive D-man for us.
Remember, he was drafted only 7 picks after Lamoureux as well. I am very high on this prospect.
I like Levshunov. I’d take Dickinson, Buium, and Yakemchuk ahead of him. He’s got great tools but I worry about the brain.Hoping Levshunov slides, expecting Buium, won't be disappointed with Dickinson either.
There’s a very good chance that Surin, O’Reilly, Solberg, Pulkkinen, and Miettinen go in the top 32.I doubt it goes this way for Utah but I would be stoked.

He’s also gigantic. But not much of a player. Just a bunch of tools and bloodlines. Longshot.I didn’t realize Miro Satan had not only a hockey playing son but also by the same name.
Give me the citizens of Salt Lake cheering for Satan.
Traded down with calgary and then back up for #16.How did you get the 16th pick.?
Miettinen is worth trying to get another pick in the late teens, early 20s imo. He's good! There’s a very good chance that Surin, O’Reilly, Solberg, Pulkkinen, and Miettinen go in the top 32.
I’ll be extremely excited if we can get any one of them at 38th.
Agree. Feel the same way about Surin, too.Miettinen is worth trying to get another pick in the late teens, early 20s imo. He's good!
I haven't watched him. Seems like a Russian Jeannot?Agree. Feel the same way about Surin, too.
I’ve watched him a bunch. One of my favorites for this draft. Him and Yakemchuk might be my two favorite kids in this class.I haven't watched him. Seems like a Russian Jeannot?

He plays a little like Trevor Zegras. Where he’s just a wild ass rover who’s just all skill and hard to control. But he’s also a violent snapcase, maybe like Max Domi. He’s dirty like Domi, too. So his play is extremely undisciplined like Zegras and between the whistles he has major discipline issues like Domi. But he’s team captain and is a big competitor and his teammates seem to love him. He’s got a ton of skill. He’s really just a wild ass player that needs to be tamed down. I use this Dean Lombardi quote all the time because it’s one of my favorites; “It’s better to have to tame a tiger than have to paint stripes on a p***y cat”. That phrase always defines my thinking on all my favorite prospects. And I think it’s especially applicable to Yakemchuk and Surin. Stian Solberg is another.
I like his size and could see him in the NHL as early as next season. Having Kolyachonok as a partner should help.I like Levshunov. I’d take Dickinson, Buium, and Yakemchuk ahead of him. He’s got great tools but I worry about the brain.
Trading down doesn't necessarily mean quantity. Maybe Calgary is willing to do a hockey trade involving Rasmus Anderson, or Ronnie Franchise having 2nd thoughts about the Vince Dunn signing, Siegenthalier + 10th?Levshunov would be incredible. Wouldn't want to trade down because we should start to focus on quality over quantity.
I think it would be a huge mistske to put Levshunov in the NHL next season. He’s got a lot to work on in college. His motor is very inconsistent and his decision making is a roller coaster.I like his size and could see him in the NHL as early as next season. Having Kolyachonok as a partner should help.
Odds are Utah will have someone ranked 3rd or 4th that’s ends up there at 6th. I doubt they trade back.Would Minnesota trade Rossi to move up?
Would Yakemchuk be there at 13? Somehow could Middleton be included?
We only trade back if we have a player we are 100% sure will be there at the pick. It means we are going off the board. Like taking the Norwegian D Solberg or Jiricek.I think it would be a huge mistske to put Levshunov in the NHL next season. He’s got a lot to work on in college. I wish they made a big deal out of this event. I hate how little attention it gets. And I wish they’d actually release the real data. Not just “top ten” finishes in a handful of the events.Combine starts tomorrow.
Testing and measuring probably doesn't happen until next Saturday.
We're in the home stretch towards the draft.
