I'm either running downtown naked with a Habs flag worn as a cape and a Demidov tattoo on my ass or going for some deep therapy for the next 5 years.

Listening to TSN690, McCagg is being more professional but you can still tell he can't really break down players well. Compare him to someone like Brad Allen at Hockeyprospect, night and day.

I agree with his position on Levshunov, but I would have no idea why he should be at 11 listening to him.
Plz don't listen to these clowns, sorry if I go with an insult. They have to be taken with a grain of salt. Like, go back in the past and point when they were so wrong, so many times, all these so called experts.

I have an unpopular question but I think it's pertinent to ask.
If Demidov is available at 5, it means teams drafting 2-3-4 didn't liked him enough as a player
or
it's the russian factor
or
by ignoring him they were so wrong like when Jarome Iginla was picked 11th, that year Habs picked Terry Ryan at 8th.

It's the fact that defenseman and centers have more value than wingers

Just wondering if any of you recall what the sportsbook odds of us picking Rein last year or Slaf the year before were at a few hours before the draft. It seems like Demidov is a huge favourite to go at #5 (Fan Duel is at -125 and Sportinteraction is at +167). Just curious as to how accurate the bookies were.

The closer we are to the draft, the tighter they are....but to give you an idea about the Slaf swings in the last couple of hours befor ethe draft

Trotz is f***ing delusional if he thinks Yaroslav Askarov gets the Preds into the top 5.
Id pass on Askarov even if it was for #21. Liked him a lot more when he was drafted but haven't been impressed with his development since then.

He's also a righty. Not a fan of righty goalies - they never amount to much of anything. Theodore was an outlier and he fell off a cliff hard. Only other righty I can think of off top my head that was consistently good was Vokoun.

Id much rather stick with what we got in Dobes, Fowler & Volohkin. Use the #21 pick or trade it for something else besides a goalie

Betting odds are extremely relevant, this isn't 1980.

There are people with inside information dramatically moving the lines to this degree(Buium) with large money plays, this isn't a few drunk dudes throwing blind money around for fun.

Jesus you are delusional.

There are no insiders connected with gambling sites.....seriously buddy this is a flat earth level opinion and is not worth me ever replying to you again in any manner.

The fact that you don't understand how these lines are created even at the most rudementary level yet you confidently assert such an asinine opinion is all I need to know here.
