I appreciate Hodge's confidence, but same...too much trauma as a Sharks fan lolIm still a little nervous haha

i've never believed.Im still a little nervous haha
i've never believed.
It's such a mess that I am going to be supportive of whatever they decide.
Demidov? they must believe he's the truth/next Kane / etc.
Parekh? I wouldn't do it, but they must be truthers about his offensive EK-like upside and his skating will get better.
Levshunov? Must be believers in his raw tools and his ability to keep learning and growing.
Yakemchuk? Must see a future Brent Burns X Corey Perry love child, and believe he can be a lot better on D. (I personally believe that).
Silayev? Must think he's the next Chara-esque beast.
Buium? I'd be stoked. I like this kid a lot - if they draft him, then they must be believers in his Leetch-like abilities.
Dickinson? They must love his skating and size and believe he can develop some spiky tools to be a 1 or 2D for a long time.
Lindstrom? Awesome, the injuries aren't a problem. He's a unicorn.
I think the most likely for the Sharks are still Lev, Lindstrom, Dickinson, Silayev, Demidov, Yakemchuk/Buium/Parekh in that order, but who knows.
That's interesting that you say thatIf there's one thing i've learned in therapy, it's that if someone says something positive, what they actually mean is the exact opposite and I should feel bad
Well, my favorite thing to do was watch the sharksThat's interesting that you say that
Tell me about your childhood
I admit that a one-game winning streak does feel like a serious hot streak for the Sharks in 2024, but the thought of them doing that four times in a row?Go look at each teams last 10 games. The Oilers should slam us but they don’t have to.
There also wasn’t a reasonable chance Noah Gregor and Lebanc would go in power mode last year winning us a few when we needed the losses - but it happened. Anything can.
What’s trending for sure is the Hawks are losing, and losing BAD
You forget that this is the Sharks and that we're forever cursedBro this team has won 3 games in a row once all year. They just got dominated by a crappy Seattle team with nothing to play for. It's not gonna happen.
The curse will manifest in losing the lottery. But we will finish 32nd.You forget that this is the Sharks and that we're forever cursed
It's not about logic
*hisses from the gallery*The curse will manifest in losing the lottery. But we will finish 32nd.
Fair enoughThe curse will manifest in losing the lottery. But we will finish 32nd.
If we don’t get Celebrini, Buium would be an excellent consolation prize. I’d take him at two or three.I wonder if the Buium's are buy one get one free, because assuming Demidov just isn't on our radar I have no qualms about Zeev at #3.
Poetic and beautifulThe curse will manifest in losing the lottery. But we will finish 32nd.
I was referring to each teams last 10 games trend.I admit that a one-game winning streak does feel like a serious hot streak for the Sharks in 2024, but the thought of them doing that four times in a row?
TBF, I understand, I'm never not nervous when it comes to the Sharks, but the odds are definitely in our favor here.
I just don't want to hear anything about the Sharks blowing the tank or trying too hard or whatever like what we got last year when, with the Norris winner on the team for the full season, people still like to get mad because the team dared to win three games in a row late in the season--a three game winning streak that came in the middle of a run of losing 20--TWENTY--of 21 games. How dare they win 4 out of 24 to finish the season!
Ironically, I believe there were conditions on the 2024 1st being top-10 protected if it converted due to the Devils making the ECF last year. So we’d have the Devils 2025 1st unprotected as of now. I prefer Musty.Would've been real nice to have the Devils 1st rounder right about now..drafting Macklin, Buium, and Jiricek with the Pens pick would've been a dream first round
