Not a lot of center depth at the top of the draft this year. Some consider Catton more a winger. Does that put a premium on Helenius?

If you consider Catton a winger you might as well feel Helenius is one too.
I consider Catton to be an impact offensive player. The last 2 drafts they’ve drafted need. Dach has to have durability questions and Beck looks like a 3C. Just wondering if that pushes Helenius up to Top 6-8? I have him at 12.

I don't have strong opinions on Silayev, Helenius, or Yakemchuk because I've barely watched them play and I don't think they are our targets.

Wouldn't mind Ottawa picking Parekh at 2, considering I don't want him with our 1st pick anyway.

We seem safely in Demidov, Lindstrom, Eiserman range if we don't fall below 7.

What happened with Aron Kiviharju? He got injured and fell off the map? Would he be a target with our 2nd rounder?

Eiserman makes sense for the Habs. We can’t score goals and basically just have playmakers up front. I wonder if Kent knows him at all since the kid is from Massachusetts.

Also interesting that Cole has three brothers and they are 31, 30 and 28. It’s like mom and dad decided to fill a void with another kid and ended up with twins.

Eiserman is even more of a enigma than Berkly Catton. The next Caufield or the next Dylan Strome.

Yea it would be with Winnipeg’s first rounder not with our own first

I was thinking with our 2nd rounder as I'm hoping he falls but since he keeps producing but the Jets pick depending on who's left on the board.

I haven't paid enough attention to him since he rarely plays with Xhekaj as Vanacker is often with the impressive 16 year old Jake O'Brien who is an excellent playmaker and once he fills out his frame he could be an interesting prospect.

Why? I havent really followed the draft and prospects exceptbthe early 1st round.

He's small, he's not a great skater. Big injury. His progression has stalled. He's a left shot defenseman.

I can't think of a reason the Habs staff would want to bring him in. They would be better served grabbing another high upside forward.

If we passed on Catton for Eiserman I'd cry
I'd cry for joy if we got Eiserman. Even if Catton's better, getting a guy like Eiserman would be a huge add.

His numbers are great. I get the detractors. I only saw one game - and he demolished Lane Hutson's team.

I think Eiserman would have better upside than any forward I can remember us drafting.

I think that's at least as true for Catton honestly
