Iginla, Eiserman out of the top 10 and yall freak out over 1 win in 2 weeks? Relax
Iginla is fast, fast becoming my favorite forward. Ill have him higher than anyone else. The projections are sky high IMO.

WellI'll believe a team will trade down out of the top 4 when I see it.
Everything I see about him gives me Dvorsky vibes. Just a very plain but effective center.I had a dream we picked Helenius (not my wish)

If we end up drafting 5OA, one of Demidov or Lindstrom will be there. At 6? Might be more unclear. But all in all, at least 2 D are going top 5 imo.I don't think the chances are they'll both be gone. Defenseman are going high.
San Jose isn't gonna pick a forward unless it's Celebrini. They haven't drafted anything but forwards since they've been rebuilding in round 1.
The Russian at MSU seems like a lock to go top 5 but after that it seems a bit unclear. If we end up drafting 5OA, one of Demidov or Lindstrom will be there. At 6? Might be more unclear. But all in all, at least 2 D are going top 5 imo.
He was close to be for the 2025 draft if i’m not mistaken? It’s also interesting because you know there’s gonna be more growth.Iginla is fast, fast becoming my favorite forward. Ill have him higher than anyone else. The projections are sky high IMO.
Iginla is about 6 weeks away from being a 2025 draft kid.He was close to be for the 2025 draft if i’m not mistaken? It’s also interesting because you know there’s gonna be more growth.
Counter offer. We play 0.500 hockey for the reason of the season, pick 8th, whiff with our pick, lose Dach to injury early into next season and get to witness the return of 2C Evans.Okay, here's how it goes.
We win the lottery and take Cellebrini. Then we package our firsts together and trade up to get 12th... and then take Eiserman. We wind up getting the two highest scorers in the draft for the next 20 years.
Profit.
That's the lowest I've seen Lindstrom in a while.
This feels just like last draft where there was a clear cut top 4(excluding Michkov) and we're going to be picking right after the big names are gone and there's little consensus on BPA.
I think as the draft gets closer things will firm up as more scouts report. There's no clear cut top 4 at all. There's Celebrini and everyone else. So far 6 different players have been ranked at #2: Silayev, Levshunov, Dickinson, Lindstrom, Demidov & Eiserman.
It's going to be a really unpredictable draft.
I prefer my scenario.Counter offer. We play 0.500 hockey for the reason of the season, pick 8th, whiff with our pick, lose Dach to injury early into next season and get to witness the return of 2C Evans.

Your right. I should’ve said top 4If two D are going top 5 that does not mean Lindstrom or Demidov would be available at #5 if we have the 5th pick as your assumption is that we would not take a D. Your assertion would no longer be applicable if we are the team that ultimately would decide whether two D go in the top 5.
With several sleepers rising, a bunch of teams going for need, he might drop to Winnipeg's first.I had a dream we picked Helenius (not my wish)

Fantilli looks like a great pick for them and they'll get another good one this year. Hopefully they can become a half decent team now that they're getting a new GM.f***ing Columbus.....
They've picked in the top 10 of the draft 16 times out of the 24 years they've been in the league, soon to be 17 out of 25.
Just to compare them to their expansion cousins, the Minnesota Wild, who have drafted in the Top 10 only 8 times in 24 years.
I don't think you're drafting a forward from 5-9 to play on the third line. At that spot, you're looking for top 4 D or top 6 F, and JR and AN are more likely as 3rd liners than CL, no offense.I like the idea of drafting Lindstrom. He would be a good parter to Mesar on a third line (line 2B). We could have three good lines for the first time in forever.

PP1 - Suzuki, Caufield, Slafkovsky, Dach
PP2 - Lindstrom, Roy, Newhook, Mesar
If we draft a top 6 center, either Dach or Suzuki would probably have to move to the wing. It's gonna be interesting to see how that would shake out.I don't think you're drafting a forward from 5-9 to play on the third line. I don't think they're going to move Nick to the wing. Dach? Maybe, but it's nice to have a 6'4" center also on one of your top top 2 lines. If we draft a top 6 center, either Dach or Suzuki would probably have to move to the wing. It's gonna be interesting to see how that would shake out.
I think you could make a pretty nice top 6 lineup (F or D) with whoever they pick in the top 6.I don't think you're drafting a forward from 5-9 to play on the third line. At that spot, you're looking for top 4 D or top 6 F, and JR and AN are more likely as 3rd liners than CL, no offense.
