If we keep our Jets pick and Jiricek or Kiviharju are available, would you draft them? I hope we can draft Demidov/Lindstrom with our own pick.

For me that isn’t even close Jiricek, I still have him around 20, Kiviharju is closer to 40, Also Jiricek is a RD vs. LD for Kiviharju. But I’m sure there would be a fw that we should pick even before.

I agree Jiricek is more interesting. We already have Lane Hutson as small LHD, so no need for Kiviharju. I did not really notice his drop in the rankings since the summer, but it looks like he is now around 20+ in almost every ranking.

Ideal scenario imo is one of Demidov/Lindstrom/Iginla/Eiserman/Catton/Helenius with our top picks.

Then a move up with the Jets pick and then MBN/Greentree/Chernyshov or another forward with offensive upside and tools.

Hitting on two forward would be massive.

And despite our abundance of great young D, getting Dickinson, Silayev or Levshunov would also be wonderful.

Didn't realize Eiserman is a Boston kid who has also committed to BU, where Hughes' son, Hutson and Tuch are all playing this year. With Eiserman likely being available where we pick, Hughes and company will likely have done a lot of due diligence when it comes to him.

whos more talented between Lindstrom and Byfield in jrs are they similar in style?
Not the same type of player. Byfield was more skilled and a playmaker and Lindstrom is more of a shooter that knows how to position himself and getting open. Both are good along the boards and puck possession, though.
