I don't think it will.Yeah, much like the Taylor Hall move, but I think it will cost more than the nothing we gave up for Hall.
Compelling argument.
Teams will want Laine and CBJ isn't in caphell, it's much differentI don't think it will.
No you're betting on the forty goal guy playing sixty something games a year and giving Bedard an elite skill set to play with if it's cheap and all it costs is two years of cap dollars. His last year is the outlier. Didn't think it needed explaining.Sorry, I couldn't tell if you were serious as to why you would want to bring Laine in.
So you're saying you would be fine with bringing in Laine if he were to give us 37 games a season all while making 8.7 mil?
If not, please explain.
Somebody could pay through the nose but I think he comes cheap because of the cap hit. If I'm wrong I'm wrong.Teams will want Laine and CBJ isn't in caphell, it's much different

Fair. I just don't think that Kurashev has a bottom 6 game and he's not good enough for a top 6 spot. He goes and puts up 60 pts next year he might change my mind.Remind all of us what the entire team did without Bedard?
Was it......dead last in scoring by a mile? To pin that failure on Kurashev is extremely disingenuous at best.
I totally agree , I'd love to see him dealt . He over achieved playing with Bedard .Fair. I just don't think that Kurashev has a bottom 6 game and he's not good enough for a top 6 spot. He goes and puts up 60 pts next year he might change my mind.
Buium.Anyone watching the Cup Final can see that the best dman on the ice is Forsling. 6ft. Left Shot. Not super fast. Insanely smart, very skilled and very disclipined with defensive posture
Bet on skill and IQ. Draft the best player available when you're picking at number 2 and sort out the size/handedness/positions afterwards.
1) Really feels like Levshunov is going to be the pick. Won't love it but looks like I'll watch even more Big10 next year.
2) MBN is just another Moore type pick. I just don't see real high end upside.
Between Greene, Levshunov, Moore, and Rinzel it could be a crowded Hawks roster come April of 2025.1) Really feels like Levshunov is going to be the pick. Won't love it but looks like I'll watch even more Big10 next year.
Middle 6/Top 9 projection is just meh at this point. We need to actually swing on guys like Hage if he is there. Guys with elite tools that need some things to go right. Maybe they take longer, but guys with real 70-80 point NHL upsideMBN would make sense if Levshunov is picked at 2. There won't be a lot of high skilled forwards available at 18 unless someone really falls. MBN could be a middle 6, at least a top 9. Maybe Michael Hage at 18 as well if they pick Levshunov.
I agree. I mean I like him.. just like a 50 point upside guy for me.I would be shocked if Detroit doesn't pick Brandsegg-Nygard. He just screams Yzerman type of player. I would like him alot though. He's the type of player you win cups with.

So what are the Hawks not seeing in Demidov to not want him at 2?
