Quinnipiac has to happy with that period

They play a bit of a rope a dope style and that’s the recipe for success today

Carolina may have a gem in Legault. Size, skating, strength, IQ. All look NHL quality to me

Riveting stuff in Providence, with one storyline being a former BU goaltender taking on BC for a Frozen Four spot.

Whenever I watch Cutter Gauthier I just never come away that impressed. He's so vanilla but people tout him like he's gonna be some hard to play against center. I expect him to just be a volume shooting wing.

I don't think he's ever really been touted as a guy that's going to be hard to hard to play against a la Leonard. He's always been a bigger guy who doesn't play big or soft and thrives on high-volume shooting.

Great plays by Powell and Gauthier there.

I remember when he got traded to Anaheim that a bunch of people were saying like.. oh yeah Verbeek kind of guy, really hard to play against.

Those people have never seen Gauthier play

This feels like the game where Ambrosio needs to do something. He's had such a disappointing season.

That slap pass on the PP was Kucherov-like. I think a volume shooting wing is realistic, but he already plays a pro style game

I like that my favorite team is drafting a double overager out of the Q that doesn't do anything, and Carolina is drafting a 6'3 RD headed to an elite college program. Thats fun.
If it makes you feel any better, the Leafs also selected a smaller skilled player ahead of a 6'3 D taken by the Canes. Now Hanifin turned out to be a good player, but ask most Leafs fans and we are pretty darn happy with Marner
