Brantford wins 5-1..not their A game but still thanks to Kardis's efficiency of beating goalies the score differential is big as he gets 3g 1a..

As I said.. thisxwas not Brantfordcdonubaribgca game..notvtheirctoo effort or sharpness..2nd line with Vanackerxand OBrien had a quiet game offensively...but Vanacker did hit a cri
Oss-bar...failed to convert on a PK break-away and had several key shot blocks when the 67s were pressing in tge Brantford o-zobe.. Brantford goalie Leendrs played welk making somecey saves...the late Ottawa only goal was not his fault, as a Brantford dman made a horrible give-away ...

So Brantford dod not play a great game but when you have a star beating goalies when he shoots it makes it easy to mask a pretty bad team effort not upto theirviwn standards.. thatvis what Lardis can do..makevitceasy forc his team Onan "off" game to still leave with a lop-sided win..

Is Lardis a skinny fast soft Alex Ovechkin? Here I thought Bedard was gonna be Hawks leading goal scorer for the next decade….

He's fast and he doesn't play a physical game but he's not skinny - he's 5'11" / 185lbs - and remember how well he did against his peers at the 2023 Prospects Draft Combine when he was "skinny" at 168lbs - he placed 1st in several events (including chin ups and vertical jumps) and several other top-10 finishes. He's a quick-twitch athlete.

Bedard scored 71 in 56 games...in his DRAFT YEAR.

Lardis is lighting up the OHL as a 19 year old. We are all cheering for him but he has a long way to go.
yeah, Bedard and Lardis are the same age (Lardis is like nine days older). Bedard actually had a higher GPG in the WHL two years ago than Lardis in does in the OHL this year. Which is less a knock on Lardis than a reflection on how absurdly good a Junior player Bedard was. Also does show how scoring projections are difficult when you hit NHL (particularly on a bad team).

Roman Kantserov with 1a today..Had 1a last game too..BUT ober lsdt 10GP ZERO goals only 4a and -6...falling off the cracks?

Playing through an i jury? What has happened to bom in this rough stretch?
