His AAV is 775k this season though. Really worth a full season of super cheap solid goaltending.

But I'm sure giving a 3-4 year deal to a Brossoit for 3 times the cap hit will be well worth it.

This is a massive concern for me. A lot of teams sniffing around and trying to bid on the same players we want.

Bound to end in disaster, unless by some miracle, guys take less AAV or term to come here.

I think the reason he's dropping due to what happened when he was with U17 with Canada.

He's dropping because he has major flaws in his game. It's that simple. He would not have been good value at #58, #68 or #78 etc.

Honestly smart. We have quite a few intresting forward prospects (throw Robertson in there too). Play the kids around the core 4 and hope they all take steps and if not address it at the TDL. Spend the money on defense.
