Looks like jarnkrok and kampf are worthless

Cant deal either for mid round picks

Buffalo traded a 2nd for a 26 year old with like 6 career goals. Kings traded a 2nd for Jeannot.

If your GM can't get value for some solid role players, you probably don't have a good GM. It's becoming increasingly clear the Leafs just prefer to run it back and making minor draft table moves.

where did our 58th overall pick go from yesterday??? I dont see anything about it being traded???? Florida picked with it
The Maple Leafs traded pick 58 – the one they picked up yesterday in a pick trade – to Florida.

The return is Florida's 2025 second rounder, and pick 225 later today.

Mews @ 58 is better pick IMO than Danford @ 31

I am not saying I would have taken Mews @ 31, but his game much well rounded (more offense) a very good skater and gap control.
Mews is terrible, there's a reason his stock plummeted throughout the year. He wouldn't be good value until R4 minimum.

So Treliving tried to trade for Markstrom and now he’s “eyeing” Zadorov and Tanev as targets.

Basically, he’s trying to recreate the same garbage team he put together in Calgary.

Soo nepotism to Calgary.
Probably thinking their bacc end with our forward group wins a cup

Tampa washes its hands of Jeannot.

What a disaster of a trade.

Did recover a 4th. and 2nd.

Love the trade down and deferred picks, we really need to accumulate and rebuild our draft capital after the Dubas era.
Sad his legacy as a hot air balloon salesman who left nothing but bad contracts. They shouldnt allow people to trade picks from more than one year ahead in case the GM , knowing he is leaving, strips the cupboard like a child. A complete lack of foresight showing a very low IQ.

I'm not sure how much you can compare deals involving picks based on the order they're announced, because deals are not announced until a pick involved comes up. So, for example, a deal announced for a pick after the Leafs' 58th may have actually been completed earlier so that return may not have been available for the Leafs.
