I stopped watching the games early in the season when Demidov created a 5v3 with his stellar lateral movement on PP1 and was then the only player removed from it when the whistle blew.
I was DONE.

It looks like he’ll need to sign to get PP time.I stopped watching the games early in the season when Demidov created a 5v3 with his stellar lateral movement on PP1 and was then the only player removed from it when the whistle blew.

It's the one thing I'm confident he won't do.It looks like he’ll need to sign to get PP time.
Like all the 18 years old players.he needs to work on his first step quickness, add strength and some mass.
I disagree. He's a player that will put his body on the line to make a play. If he's going to have a long career, he needs to be able to withstand repeated heavy contact. He needs more mass than a guy like Hutson, whose game revolves around avoiding contact as much as possible.Like all the 18 years old players.
We said the same thing about.....Crosby at 18 that... he needed to put some mass..
When you have all the elite qualities that I mentioned you don't need to put more weight....look at Hutson.
Demidov is perfectly fine right now and don't need to add a single pound

Tony DeAngelo: Ivan Demidov should never have slipped to 5th place
well that settles things
Tony DeAngelo: Ivan Demidov should never have slipped to 5th place
Thought I'd pass this along in case you haven't seen it since it was more about the Canes prospects. When asked, Nikishin said he isn't the best European prospect, his teammate is (referring to Demidov).
Probably not a fan of Lindstrom lolTony DeAngelo: Ivan Demidov should never have slipped to 5th place
RR has had plenty of praise for Demidov too.Kuznetsov, DeAngelo, Nikishin, Mishkov, etc. The only one who has anything negative to say about Demidov is Rotenberg.
Words are empty..............actions are what count. The coach seems to be a real bum.RR has had plenty of praise for Demidov too.
Thought I was in the Marty thread for a secondWords are empty..............actions are what count. The coach seems to be a real bum.
Crap with so many players do they even have a seat for him on the bus.So, more games of little to no ice time.?
You can say that about almost every prospect.....he needs to work on his first step quickness, add strength and some mass.
Also has about 1 minute playing time.Dude had 1 assist in his last 10 games? Ishh
If there was ever a prospect of ours that I didn’t care about their lack of production, it’s this guy. Pretty much the same with Hutson in his sophomore year. Could care less about his point totals.Dude had 1 assist in his last 10 games? Ishh
