I stopped watching the games early in the season when Demidov created a 5v3 with his stellar lateral movement on PP1 and was then the only player removed from it when the whistle blew. :ha:

I was DONE.
It looks like he’ll need to sign to get PP time.

he needs to work on his first step quickness, add strength and some mass.
Like all the 18 years old players.

We said the same thing about.....Crosby at 18 that... he needed to put some mass..

When you have all the elite qualities that I mentioned you don't need to put more weight....look at Hutson.

Demidov is perfectly fine right now and don't need to add a single pound

I disagree. He's a player that will put his body on the line to make a play. If he's going to have a long career, he needs to be able to withstand repeated heavy contact. He needs more mass than a guy like Hutson, whose game revolves around avoiding contact as much as possible.

It's more about the right mass.. the kids sometimes get carried away with building this mass in their upperbody when they need to strengthen their core and lower body.
