It's so funny that Bergevin was saying "it's not playstation" when Hughes is running the team like it is and succeeding in doing so lmao
Trades are hard is still my favourite Bergy-ism

That SOB just REFUSED to « lose » a trade. Serves him well, bad for us.“#1 centres aren’t available”
O’Reilly gets traded like a week later and wins a Cup with the Blues
Whoa, whoa! He has 6 years left, counting this season. He's signed until 2030We need our D to mature fast! If that happens fast or ahead of the curb, this team is near contender faster than we expect.
Hard to believe Suzuki has 4 years left on his deal. Cap issues might start to get complicated in that 5th season from now.
VGK proved unequivocally that Bergevin is full of shit lolIt's so funny that Bergevin was saying "it's not playstation" when Hughes is running the team like it is and succeeding in doing so lmao
They are hard, but unlike MB, Hughes still try to make them work and seems to have a better grasp of the value of his players (on the ice and trade).Trades are hard is still my favourite Bergy-ism
Don’t know who’s that kid with the #11 but he seems not bad
We are used to it; welcome to this side of the Habs fandomOther teams fans:
First "His playing style works vs juniors only".
Then "His playing style works outside the NHL only".
And at last "The Habs are so lucky to have the guy"...
This f***ing kid man.. Can't believe he's ours.
That puck comes out faster than some people can shoot.
It happened so fast and I thought the puck hit the crossbar. That puck comes out faster than some people can shoot.
Holy liftin'
They probably wanted a center considered what they did with their pick and who they took. So Lindstrom was probably their target. We knew the Flyers tried to get the 4th overall pick. Did they target Demidov if they got the pick from the BlueJackets?
Having a GM with a law degree who has experience communicating with GMs, not teammates in a locker room (not bashing former players here just stating facts) is what we're seeing here. I mean look at the deal Hughes got Nurse, the guy is a master negotiator and it's a very important skill for a modern day GM.It's so funny that Bergevin was saying "it's not playstation" when Hughes is running the team like it is and succeeding in doing so lmao
