The fact he was drafted in the 4th round instead of using a later pick, to me, means that Bergman pushed for it, and that is a good sign, he is a good scout.
Also, for him to be playing any decent hockey at that size, especially D, he must be using 100% skill/skating/intelligence.
I don't love or hate the pick, but it is intriguing.

not unless they felt he was a 2nd round or better talent
they know he's unknown, but they believed in burning that pick value for a reason
Given that he was known to precisely 0 professional scouting services, it wasn't just me.

Grebyonkin was seen as a reach/off the board pick when he was picked as well to. Let the kid develop a bit.
He was known to our scouts and likely other NHL teams, which is why we didn't wait til the 5th round.
That is what matters.

It is the getting mad at the pick thing though lol I would say he was known by some professional scouts though if I am going to go out on a limb here.

I'd wait until the Clark interview after the draft. I suspect a lot of raw skill and skating potential. You don't draft completely out of left field for fun.
