Speculation: 2024/25 Trade Rumours, Speculation etc Thread

Our lower range rentals have actually paid off well for us. DeMelo, Nino, Names and Miller have all stayed. I think the middle class guys are often just fine staying in Winnipeg.
It'll be interesting to see if the Jets go this route -
This is middle class that likely plays lower class minutes and taking spots that were being battled for (by our draft picks) all season. Not sure if that is what the Jets want to do - but he is an upgrade.

Yeah I don't reallly get acquiring a guy who isn't a bonafide top 4 guy, significantly above anything we have now. I'd much rather go for a 2C if we're spending assets or making a hockey trade.
Has linden already been traded to wpg as multiple posts bout it, but, can’t find anything.

I mean he is playing top pairing with fox...

Hes getting top 4 ev mins and top 2 pk mins

Even if lindgren just bumps stan off our pk rotation thats a massive improvement

Samberg-demelo
Lindgren-miller

Suddenly you have jomo and pionk rested

Yeah but they haven't shown any interest in putting Miller out there on the PK. I would also like to get Pionk off the PK both to rest him and to hopefully get some better results. Don't think replacing Stan with Lindgren does that.

Pagnotta says Rasmus Andersson “would be open to a move and would welcome one”

Would love Andersson on the Jets
Dream scenario. Jets have the pieces, but would he want to be here long term? Doubtful.

Calgary exceeding expectations and fighting for a wildcard spot likely keeps him off the market barring a ridiculous overpayment.
