It wasn’t a Picasso but they dug in and got the lunch pails out again love to see it and nice to hard work get rewarded with a win
A lot of their wins havent been the prettiest but they find ways to get it done. In the previous seasons they found ways to lose.
Hiller makes zany coaching decisions that work well for home games when he gets his matchups.

Good come from behind win, but no consistency from top offensive players. Sooner or later this will become an issue. As an NHL coach, you have to find a way to get your top offense players to produce.

Agree. Tonite Byfield line was clicking - but that could just be the matchups. Totally illogical not to have Turcotte in the top 9. I dont know what conclusions you draw from these games in terms of the identity and how they win. Its like russian roullette and so far they havent eaten any lead.

BDR strikes again and steals a game, what a performance. Did Burroughs play at all? What was the point of dressing him just to sit? Would've rather seen Lee out there with Helenius but whatever, a win is a win. Stars really miss Pavelski and Seguin, 2 huge holes in their lineup.

Nearly 5 whole minutes!

Kopitar with nearly 21, gotta watch that

Watch the Edmundson goal, Burroughs made it perfectly clear that Edmundson needed to shoot that puck. It practically had a piece of parsley on it.

It definitely felt like the Kings were not very engaged in the 1st and Dallas took advantage of it, but they woke up for the 2nd and did well enough in the 3rd to get the win.
Don’t worry these weird posters are no where to be seen when the Kings are getting their shit pushed in.

Most uninspiring win to date, good to hold on, good to come back, but man, just no....purpose out there, going through the motions, no drive, first five games of the season these guys were going to the net, hanging out there etc, now....very rarely is it happening, that's not a good sign.

Happy for the win, but this wasn't a good win in the way they played.

Fogele made Stankhoven look so bad on the GWG. He couldn't even keep up and he was chasing him all over the ice, then he had the best view of the goal.

Yeah I remember Foegele's speed and work rate being high...but I didn't remember him being such a bulldog in the dirty areas, that tends to rub off too so good on that whole line for just saying "yeah we're just gonna push the puck that way and hit go"...that's what Jeannot needs anyway and it started to drag Byfield into a simpler effective game as well.

Credit where credit is due, the Kings bounced back after a horrendous first period that they no-showed. As a whole though, I thought they played poorly despite winning

It was nice to be on the other side of the ledger for once--instead of totally dominating 5v5 and getting outgoalied and outsniped we were slightly outplayed 5v5 and outgoalied and outsniped another team.

The Stars had massive possession but Kings were good on high danger, they defended very, very well and were blocking shots like their lives depended on it, like i said earlier in the GDT stars had the 2010s Kings game plan of just funneling shots, that's not to say they didn't make some big plays but the volume of dangerous plays actually wasn't high. The 1st period makes it look more uneven, the 2nd and 3rd were coin tosses arguably advantage Kings as we tried to turn it into muddy football.

I’d give more credit to the DAL defense playing a role in what the Kings could do….very impressive.

Not a chance. It'd be one thing if LA had purpose, and DAL was deflecting them, LA had zero purpose last night, zero drive, when they DID drive the net, they scored, Jeannot, Foegle were the only two doing f***all towards the net.....
