maybe next trade deadline. the only guys I could see us retaining on with any kind of solid return would be. Jones and dickinson. (maybe martinez sounds like he would rather stay) we could also trade brodie with 50% and no return if we do not use it. we would still have 2 more for next year. the Buried amount 1.125.
My guess is we pay him his 2.45 bonus this summer and then goes to AHL and never plays and retires.

Yep absolutely fine with it. He's been a really good soldier, and if he's healthy come TDL next year, some contender is going to be asking.
I hope he can make a few deep playoff runs, he deserves to experience it.

I don't think that's the case.
He's about on the same level as Maroon, except he doesn't intimidate anyone so I think he's less useful.

After all the lost Saad trades I don't want to see him in an Indian head again. No thanks. Give/save that spot for a up and coming Rockford kid. Or slot someone down if we go UFA hunting this offseason.

I liked Saad the first go around here and I was okay with his second (outside of what we gave up). I think a 3rd time would easily be the worst and it would take away a spot from a kid like Slaggert, who would bring a lot more to an NHL lineup these days.

No on Saad, they got rid of Hall to have room for the kids. I am sure if the Oilers had the space Bowman would be claiming him pronto.

I remember being flabbergasted when I heard that they traded Panarin in order to bring Saad back. I forget what trade came first, that one or the Hammer trade. But f*** was I ever mad that day.
Panarin played like the mirror image of Kane but with a better shot. Been a lot of bad hockey played in those subsequent years.
