Mrazek was just activated and Commesso was sent back to Rockford. I was hoping Jones and/or Martinez would be ready for tonight as I'm so sick of Brodie.
brodie probably stays in the lineup when jones come back. if he does i think it's pretty easy to conclude that tinordi staying in the lineup last year was a kd decision more than a lurich decision.

I don't know man. Last year, they were so desperate for bodies that I didn't really care about Tinordi. Yeah he was bad but I don't remember them having anyone else that I was screaming to play instead of him.

With the way the lineup is now, I get that you need some experience and that if Brodie doesn't play, every defenseman other than Connor Murphy is 23 or under. But when Jones/Martinez come back, I can't justify giving minutes to Brodie over Kaiser, Allan, Korchinski, or even Crevier. I get Brodie is not going anywhere with that contract but let him hang in the press box and give him a game when the Hawks have back to backs.

i agree with most of what you are saying, i simply don't think kd sees it that way. if i had to bet i'd say he's aiming to send one of the young d down. hopefully i'm wrong, but it's not a massive worry in my mind either way.

Tinordi was bad but he played the pugilist role so that made him more vital than Brodie. Sit the players that aren't performing---it's that easy.
