Yup. Helllll of a tournament for him. Werenski has been impressive but Slavin, and Faber to a degree, have been pillars for USA.He's this era's Vlasic, will never get the respect he deserves

Like a dog.Vlasic gnashes his teeth furiously.
Like a dog.

It was nice to see some meaningful hockey, I agreeWhatever side you were on for the ending, you have to agree that whole tournament was far, far better than it had any right to be and a spectacular alternative to a boring, stodgy all-star game.
I didn't love the rebound that led to the second goal but he definitely redeemed himselfWanting/needing Binnington to be good makes me feel dirty.
Everyone talks about how Matthews is this defensive stalwart, and I just haven't seen it.Fox and Matthews both leave McDavid open in the slot. That’s not a good idea.
Defensively, Slavin might never be quite as cerebral and positionally sound as Vlasic was at his peak...but Slavin more than makes up for it with his size and strength. He is also a far better puck-mover and has more offensive bite to his game.Vlasic gnashes his teeth furiously.
Woah, the team that got 0 power plays lost the game?
Who could have seen that coming?
