Thankfully only one of my sons is old enough to drink beer in public but still it’s going to cost me $300 per game when they’re down for a weekend, because of these ridiculous contracts.

This management group is brutal. How the f*** are they going after Soto at 700 million with Vlad sitting there with no extension. I just hate these guys beyond words. I wish they would fire the two of them out of cannon and get them the he’ll away from Toronto. Even better, maybe we would get lucky and our competition would hire them to destroy their team.

Seeing a bunch of people on Twitter saying Soto back to the Yankees for 15 years/$765 million. If that's the case, that's absolutely crazy

Gotta admit, it’s been a lot less stressful not buying into the Soto sweepstakes. The Ohtani sweepstakes last year absolutely consumed me and ended In heartbreak

(Predict) Worse off season: Last season vs This season.
Gonna be hard to beat last years retirement tour and utility guy signing bonanza.

I think we get Santander, Eavoldi, and a decent pen arm through trade. Just enough for them to claim to be attempting to compete without actually fooling anyone.

For sure. But the higher ups didnt get the message and are still consumed putting all tbeir effort into going for the big name when they were never in it. They should have been trying for others when the prices were lower.

What does this even mean? How many players have signed so far? Adames, wasn’t low price, O’Neill, wasn’t low price

Either way, I hope they use the money they were going to throw at Soto and get some good signees. I’d be ok with Santander and Burnes to start!

They need more than one pen arm, and I'm not a big fan of Eovaldi, but Santander plus a solid starter plus a decently revamped pen should definitely get them back to competing for a playoff spot.

If they do that, it will have been a fine offseason. Not a game-changer, but good enough, and certainly better than last year's disaster.

Do that stuff and extend Vlad, and I'll be thrilled.

Last, pretty easily. There's no way they don't address their biggest needs again (currently a big bat and a better pen) like they did last year.

Whether it'll be enough is the real question.

Too early to say that. Majority of us weren’t expecting Soto. I dont think they could do much more than they have done in regards to Soto.
Jays are definitely going to make moves they are desperate. I just mean they should of spent their time on other things then soto. But i am interested to see what they do they only have 9 players signed right now. Then the arb guys

Apparently they were close on holmes but mets are going to give him a shot as a starter. Jays viewed him as a reliever
