My top RHD UFA at this point is probably Hakanpaa.

Ducks will be winners of FA for not signing any ridiculous contracts. lol. Usually I'm like ok they overpaid but some of these contracts are future buy out candidates.

I'd be willing to say 50% of the High-Money deals are sure-fire buyouts within three years.

A lot of these deals are crazy even for FA. Many of these teams are going to be buying out these contracts later and maybe that's their intention. With the Cap predicted to keep rising, maybe teams are hedging that buyouts aren't as big of an issue on the cap anymore. Either way, I'm glad PV avoided most of these deals

I think Trouba makes a lot of sense. Would not be mad if they make that trade.

Sort of a no brainer to bring both back on dirt cheap deals though. Even if they will be competing for jobs, cheap playable depth at worst

Some of you need to go get some cognitive tests done. FA day hasnt been boring for us for a few years and usually the firs5t names to fly off the board are bad contracts. I think PV has done enough over the past few seasons to give him a little leeway to work

Yep, I said it a few days ago, but it was mental to me that anyone thought Gibson had any value even with retention. He's been dogshit for years and is about to turn 31.
