Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The thing I am trying to keep in mind - only one of these deals seems like it would have been good for the Ducks (Roy), and then we have to remember that the Ducks not only would have had to beat the deal he signed, but probably beat it by 20%. And even then, who knows if the player just wanted to go to a different market?
Of course it would be nice to get some shiny new toys, but a lot of these toys are actually pretty well worn. And expensive. Keep your composure, Verbeek, and find a good deal somewhere else.

Okej, let's trade some draft capitol for Right D+ while it has value. Le'ts not end up bottom 5 next year. We don't draft top 5 prospects anyway.

I was about to say "Hell, we're going to have to sign the RFA's we just released so we can ice a team at this point."
And then...
Ducks will be winners of FA for not signing any ridiculous contracts. lol. Usually I'm like ok they overpaid but some of these contracts are future buy out candidates.

Good move for both. Leason turned into a really solid 4th liner last year, and Vaaks is underrated, has potential to be a second pairing guy IMO. Good defensive foil for some of our offensive defensemen.

Sort of a no brainer to bring both back on dirt cheap deals though. Even if they will be competing for jobs, cheap playable depth at worst
