Toronto, ON.
You've provided us with more information than our media has at this point.
Ducks are my top 3 team for me. Mighty Ducks movies were what did it lol Leafs are my team, but they never win, so. A lot of good players from Ontario over the years on the Ducks as well, so it’s a good fit. Plus your guys’s prospect pool is arguably the best in the league. Some amazing D prospects. Do you think trading any of them for ready made talent is going to happen this season? They should look at Necas.

Masse has his first two goals of the season tonight.

He should have been a first round pick too.

Crazy he went in the 3rd…. I wouldn’t have been mad if we grabbed him with our 2nd/oilers 1st prior to the solberg trade

Ah gotcha. I really only looked at the base rankings. Don't love that our prospects are basically "Cs" in every category they're in, but on the whole I can't argue too much with everyone's category placement. I could quibble about some guys ranked higher than they should be but whatever. A lot closer to fair than I would've expected.
For more context, he noted that Luneau is "one of my favorite young D in the sport".

He also labels the Support category as "a below-average top-line forward, a strong No. 2 defenseman, or an above average starter."
Given that, it's pretty cool we have 4 defensemen listed here, and 8 players altogether.

He should have been a first round pick too.

Lots of high-end scorers who can't skate well drop to the third round. I'll list three, recent Duck prospects who fit that descriptor:

2021: Rd 3, 66th OA in RW Pastujov (left shot)
2023: Rd 3, 85th OA in RW Sidorov (left shot)
2024: Rd 3, 66th OA in RW Massé (right shot)

In the video where Massé scored, you can see him cheat by racing up the ice before his team gained full possession. Even worse was his teammate was behind the other team at the OZone blueline. It's a great play by both players, but they're also flying early.

Farjestad game #4: Lulea 4, Farjestad 6

Clara: dnp as Legace started this game
Solberg: 0 pts, 0 SOG, 2 hits, 2 PIM (interference), -2 rating, and 13:36.

It was not a great night for Solberg after having had a very good game in his last outing. He had the fewest TOI out of the d-men. Solberg is just 18-years old in a top men's league (SHL). This year is a year to develop his game as well as consistency.

The TOI doesn't mean much as all the D played 13-14 mins except the top pairing.

Their GM called Solberg an unpolished and wild kid who's focusing a lot on the physical play, and this could put him out of position now and then. GM said the coaches will need to find a balance there, said Solberg is learning and has a great upside.

It's a big change for him to leave the nest and get his own place, but his girlfriend is also there to support him.

I don't understand the coddling reply for Solberg, especially when I wrote, "Solberg is just 18-years old in a top men's league (SHL). This year is a year to develop his game as well as consistency." You are reiterating what I said.

Here is my post about Solberg's previous game:
Farjestad Game #3: Farjestad 4, Timra 1

  • G Clara: Starting goalie for this game. Went 14/15.
  • LD Solberg: 2nd pairing, 0 pts, 2 SOGs, +1 rating (finally!), 2 hits, and lead the team in ice time with 19:11.

Clara is continuing to be dominant in net. This is the second game in a row he's the starting goalie. Solberg had a very good game today. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of his ascent.

As you can see, I denoted Solberg has the most ice time for the team and was very good that game. The very next game, it was a bad game for Solberg. Just shows the inconsistency of a young player, which we're in agreement of. There is nothing malicious reporting about what actually happened. You can stop with the white knight defense of Solberg when we're both fans of Solberg.
