Prospect Info: 2024-25 Ducks Prospects

Don't see the Sprong comparisons, TBH. Sido's play style reminds me a lot of Terry - both good and bad. He gets in trouble from holding onto the puck for too long or trying too much. Sido was also quite physical in these games, never shying away from getting into a scrum or laying a hit.

I think there is a very good chance Calum Ritchie makes the avs team, so this is another star junior player to possibly play with sennecke.

Posted awhile back but there was a rumor floating around the OHL board that Konnor Smith would be on his way to Oshawa in the same deal once returned

LD Solberg and G Clara are on Farjestad in the SHL. Farjestad beat Vaxjo, 4-2 in OT penalty shots, in the first game of the SHL season.

Solberg: 0pts, -2 rating, 2 hits, and 16:01 ATOI
Clara: Enter the game late in OT, the 4:05 mark, and remained for the shootout. Went 3/4 in the shootout to secure the win.

Actually really pleased with this. Not a surprise considering how great the Black Book is and they are behind that.

Some observations:
I find it funny Gaucher has a higher floor then ceiling haha.
Sennecke is 1 of 3 players with a ceiling of 9. Parekh with a floor of 5, Celebrini with a floor of 9. Even Demidov and Michkov only have a ceiling of 8.
Levshunov has the same floor and ceiling rating as Luneau and Zellweger.

When sorted by ceiling, pretty nice to have 3 of the top 5 players on our team.

Interesting that they have Sidorov and Masse as essentially the same, when Sido has been significantly more noticeable than Masse for me so far. Although he is older.

Also kind of funny that you can sort by "Anaheim"

Am I reading this wrong? Do they really have Gaucher's ceiling at 5 and his floor at 7? How does that work?

They have multiple players listed this way, too.

Very good chance of being an NHL player but will be average at best.

It just means he is a high floor low ceiling player. They are 2 separate measurements, not on the same scale.

Solberg was 2nd pairing again. He had 0 pts, -1 rating, and 1 hit on 15:35 TOI. His TOI was the 2nd fewest among D-men for Farjestad in the game. After two games, Solberg owns the worst +/- on the team with a -3 rating.

It is mentioned that his ranking is held back by injury problems which seems reasonable, imo. Even Wheeler said he's one of his favorite blueline prospects if not for the injuries. Dude lost a season, basically. And had injury woes before
