Gaucher has looked solid to good (at times) at the AHL level for the most part (I'd say I've managed to catch about 60% of so of Gull games this season), he's good defensively, tends to dominate physically, goes to the dirty areas, sticks up for teammates and plays well without the puck. Only thing that has been lacking is the offensive production (which has been the knock on him forever) and unfortunately that offensive game has taken a step back this season that is without question.

I think a call up right now would be more based on his draft position then a reward for his play though, because of how bad it's looked offensively at times. Needs to work on that before getting a call up IMO.

Unfortunately I think his ceiling is 4c unless something happens offensively, but the Gulls coaching is so bad right now...maybe he just needs the right system.

If he doenst continue his 5.5 points a night pace... hes a bust
He needs to produce bigger than McDavid's OHL numbers to be just a good 3rd overall pick lol.
I feel like if the Ducks hadn't drafted him we'd later hear about him being another Wyatt Johnston who everyone regrets passing on.

A rare loss for Färjestad today, 3-6 at home vs Skellefteå.

Solberg scored his first goal in the SHL, even rating, 1 hit, 13:30 TOI.
Clara had a rough day, was pulled after the 1st period.

SHL paused next week. Solberg will play for Norway in the U20 Division 1 tournament in Slovenia, then CHL Dec 17, SHL resumes Dec 19.

Kind of feel for the opponents of Solberg. Div 1 forwards against that kind of a hitter who can demolish grown men in one of the best league in the world. Now vs div 1 forwards. Ouch

Buteyets has been a bit of a forgotten man down in Tulsa (those last five words could be a country song).

He allowed 4 goals on 17 shots last night, breaking a personal five start winning streak. In those five previous winning efforts he stopped 135/146 (.926) with one shutout.

On the season he sits 8-4-0 2.68 GAA .898 SV % with two shutouts. Tulsa's other goalie is 6'8 Rangers prospect Talyn Boyko, who has registered a 4-2-1 record with 2.41 GAA and .917 SV%.
