The third line wouldn’t be weak if Bednar let them play to their strengths; wreak havoc, chip pucks around and play the body.
Instead, he expects bottom 6 players to use their brains and the reality of the salary cap is we can’t afford that luxury.

Best news about guys coming back is getting Mittelstadt some talent to play with on the 2nd line. He's so good, and the guys around him are just not 2nd liners at this point (or ever).
