But, it’s been 18 months now since the surgery, and he isn’t any closer to returning. If it’s not close now, I don’t see how it will ever be.

Drouin is on the route of coming back soon. What did you expect. He had his ribs cracked and he also had a collapsed lung. I hope that Drouin is a non smoker because it would be very difficult to smoke with a collapsed lung.

Avs are always keeping things secretive. For all we know Drouin might not even have cracked ribs. Who knows.

Yeah, I just realized that it was a really bad joke. Sometimes in the office when we had surprise Bday parties I came out and always gave away the surprise. I even got warned not to do that as it messes up the whole surprise. Sometimes when we hang out I get comments from my friends "did he just say that" or "wow, did he really say that" I can hear them whisper. Sometimes my buddies are even asking me "do you think before you say something or just say it anyways". Last New Years eve one of my good friends invited me to a house party. I usually don't drink a lot but when I started drinking and told my friend in the kitchen Why are you going to marry your short dark hair girlfriend, you can find yourself a taller blonde as you are 6"4'. His girlfriend heard what I was saying and only weeks later did I found out that she was crying because I got a little drunk and said something stupid. He wound up never marrying her even though he was dating her for years. She never spoke to me again. But I am now really starting to learn that you have to think about what you are going to say before just saying it.
