Don't really think it's dreaming. None of them have a really serious injury.

Well, I suppose Lehkonen did. But he's been healing for months now, so.....
Nuke's addiction has to be considered pretty serious as well, no? Seems fairly likely that he'll have a very severe nose injury that will keep him out for 12+ months

I'd personally say the odds of Nuke getting suspended between now and the 2026 playoffs are very high. I even have doubts on this year, but he missed the training camp test so he only has to pass the random mid-season and playoff test (and the 48 hours notice tests... which SHOULD be easy for him).

Just getting Lehky back for tomorrow is exciting enough. Getting Nuke back a week later is gonna be so awesome. With possibly Drouin and Wood back in the next 10 days or so as well?

Going from:

Kivi - Mack - Mikko
LOC - Mitts - Kovalenko
Prison - Ivan - Tynan
Wagner - Kelly - Kyllington

To something like:

Drouin - Mack - Mikko
Lehky - Mitts - Nuke
LOC - Ivan - Kovalenko
Kivi - Kelly - Wood

Just incredible really. The top group is an AHL team that just so happens to have 3 NHL superstars mixed in. The bottom group is a legitimate NHL team and a pretty damn good one.

There is no expanded testing due to his previous participation in the Players Assistance Program? I thought the theory was that him getting pulled into Stage 2 was probably due to more frequent testing?

Also, I like how far we've shifted from what we were speculating over the summer...the locker room would never take him back, front office would terminate his contract due to cause as soon as they could, etc., etc. Sounds like everyone is on board for him to provide a healthy NHL body on the wings

Yeah, it would just be nice not to lose every single game until that second lineup is a reality.

The only issue is that the ideal roster will only be good for like half a game before we lose a few of them to the butcher.

It would be... But the lineup we have right now is legit AHL levels. You basically need the superstars to have superstar games to even have a chance against non playoff teams.

And, ask for the goaltending to be decent.

It's asking for a lot. But fortunately Lehky alone returning makes a pretty sizable difference. Enough that they can roll 2 solid NHL lines at least which should be enough to have a fighting chance against some teams.

So we only gonna lose like few more games before we get Val back on the 13th, unless getting Lehky back on Tuesday will be enough to win a game or two. Just Lehky back is not enough though. It is still a very thin forward group

And this right here tells me you've never had properly cooked wings.

I've had and they're good, I just feel like they're also overrated.. I just prefer a lot of other kind of fast food to wings. I'll happily eat 'em and have a beer or two.

Oh yeah, here in Finland they have shitty dips mostly. People LOVE blue cheese dip here and I despise blue cheese.

If Landy’s not coming back half way into the season like January, just keep him on LTIR and use that cap space to get a player and get Landy back in the playoffs if he’s good to go… and if we make the playoffs of course
