You like to pick out things that have the most minimal similarities and claim that they are similar. I genuinely do not understand why.

We know Landeskog's injury. We know he has been skating. We know even last season he was being hidden by the Avs and skating on his own at times. We know that Landeskog nor the Avs have stated any setback has occurred.

Yet you continue trying to create this narrative that something must have gone majorly wrong. I do not understand it.
You fill all the gaps of things you don't know with things you wish for (ie: he's no longer around = he's on schedule they are just hiding him).

I don't do that.

The only thing we know for sure is the original timeline of 12 to 16 months expired 2 months ago and right now he's not around or training with the team.

In any other market, the press would be allowed to ask a simple question like “hey, where’s Gabe?”

Not here. Dare to do that and you will lose your credentials altogether, along with your living cat.
We can thank Pierre Lacroix for that.

Bob Hartley is a daily guest on a radio station here and he's often referring to it. Every year Lacroix gave very strict instructions to everyone in the org on how to keep the media away from the team and to give them nothing...and Sakic learned directly from him.

Lacroix thought that he could fix anything internally as long as it's not in the media. Chances are there were many "Nuke in the hotel room" stories back then that we never heard of!

Yes, I am filling in gaps with things I am wishing for and you are filling in gaps by comparing his situation to Colin Wilson.

I'll happily keep doing what I'm doing instead of things like that.

Call me crazy, but I enjoy this about the organization. It's true a lot of the time.

Unfortunately it's not always.

I think it's a reason Colorado has won, and had success in the league in ways other cities have not, and a reason Colorado is taken seriously, but sometimes still given the cold shoulder by UFAs.

The organization definitely goes the extra steps for people they feel are family.

Guys, the regular season is approximately 27 weeks long. We're about 4 weeks in. 23 weeks to go.

Two weeks from now, things should be much better. Yes, it's going to be rough seas until then.

But in two weeks, the team should have Lehkonen, Nichushkin, Wood, and Drouin back. With 21 weeks of hockey to go.

Hang in there.

It would be amazing to have those guys back but call me a skeptic. I believe it when I see it.

Dreaming is free though so why not do it?

Don't really think it's dreaming. None of them have a really serious injury.

Well, I suppose Lehkonen did. But he's been healing for months now, so.....

They were talking about injuries and living in Colorado high altitude on DNVR podcast. They said the high altitude makes the injuries heal slower that’s why Avs players usually take longer to recover. Not sure if any truth to that

Cherry picking that a little bit, it was 12-18 months so the 18 month mark would be November 10th. Plus theres the whole cap situation making him and Nuke fit. I really wouldn't be surprised if the reason he's "disappeared" is because he's further along/close/ready and they're trying to stretch it a bit so that everyone fits under the cap. Since from what I understand the longer he and/or Nuke are out, the more cap that is accrued which would be a way to make them both fit. (I'm unsure if it works that way for Landy but for Nuke that is the case)

Personally I probably wont get nervous until New Years if we still haven't heard of anything, and if STILL nothing come February/March I'll probably join the group of he's not coming back.

You can’t choose boneless wings. That’s a crime

Boneless wings are just fancy chicken nuggets. Perfectly acceptable appetizers, but they absolutely do not compare to bone-in wings.
Yes. You are both correct.

Could this finally be the thing that HFAvs all agree on? Boneless wings are not wings, they are fancy nuggets, or poor man's tenders. They don't even belong in the same conversation as wings. Except the Red Wings - boneless wings and the Red Wings are each other's side chick, guaranteed.

I am NOT paying for something that is 95% bone, waste of money. Boneless all the way (and I believe Lando is coming back)

I like boneless wings as much as the regular ones

Wings are very overrated though
