That's where he played during the covid year, in Bakersfield.
At the end of the year his contract with the Florida Panthers is up.
Probably just making room so Uens can play.

Whatever happened to him? Great season as a rookie playing for Edmonton’s AHl team and not much since
He also missed the second half of last season with an injury. Back if I remember correctly? Either way, I am speculating, but I believe this is another player that guy caught in the covid-19 confusion.

Vilmanis scores this beauty, he has a little something going here. Starting to wake up after being ice cold.
Goal and assist tonight as the Sting beat the Spirit 6-3

A single assist night for Benning and Devine, as #1 Denver beat unranked Arizona State 5-2.
Lindmark's single assist, as unranked Wisconsin lost to #5 Michigan 4-2. He has a four game point streak going.

They were both on Denver last year, the NCAA National Champion, so they definitely got a taste of what it takes to win.

Both Haché and Arnsby registered assists last night.

Haché with a secondary assist, just passing the puck up from his own zone.

Arnsby with the primary assist last night. Again I stress, guy always seems to be in the right place at the right time. (Three of the Panther prospects this year have been part of their respective team's teddy bear tosses. That is going to be a weird record!)

Benning & Devine with assists

Benning with the secondary assist on the overtime winner. He forced that turnover on his own Blue Line, then set up the winning goal.
At this rate, I'd expect to see him in a Panthers uniform come March or April.

Krygier continues to put u some points this year.

Unfortunately he was not selected to Team Canada's World Junior Team
He was a long shot but it looked like he did well.

D Evan Nause (Florida Panthers): If Hinds was maybe Canada’s best defenceman for me in the opener, Nause might have been the other in the conversation for me (coincidentally, he was also the other defenceman who I would have given the longest odds coming in). His reads were good defensively, stepping up into gaps to break up some plays in the neutral zone. He was cool under pressure in his own zone, sidestepping the forecheck to break pucks out more than once. And then he assisted on Roy’s 4-2 goal on the power play. I liked him in the second game, too (led by a great job following a scoring chance to the net from the point to create a chance for himself from the slot on the rebound), but he wasn’t quite as impressive as the opener and that wasn’t quite enough.

I was away the last little bit.
Just some assist to go around the last couple days in the OHL and NCAA.

Vilmanis ended his point Streak at 5 games (4g, 5a).

Single assist to: Arnsby, Haché, Benning, & Devine.

Muszelik
recorded a win, as he stopped 31 shots, but let in four goals .

The Captain Arnsby with a goal and an assist tonight in North Bay's 7-3 win over Mississauga.
North Bay is not only 2nd in the Eastern Conference, but 2nd overall in the entire OHL to Ottawa. They are playing good, and just picked up some big time scorers.
The franchise just released its first ever 3rd Jersey. Other than copying Sarnia Sting colours, I absolutely love this jersey:

Vilmanis did not end his five game point streak, he just joined the Latvian World Junior camp. My mistake.
I reached out on the Sarnia board to get a scouting report on him.
Fans absolutely love him and think the Panthers got a steal in the draft! Check it out if you want to read more:

Denver rolled Lindenwood 5-0 Friday night, and 5-4 this afternoon.

Benning had two assists Friday, and two goals Saturday.

I watched the 2nd of the Friday night game.

Every opportunity he jumped in the rush.
He had a very active stick when he was on the defense. Smaller individual, but his stick makes up for it. Got walked once on the blueline, but it looked more like he was caught flat-footed. Not concerned with his skating.

That leaves Ludvig Jansson as the only member of Sweden’s defence corps with any World Junior experience. A speedy, aggressive defender, he’s been one of the best teenage defencemen in the Allsvenskan this season, putting up a goal and six points in 26 games, which already surpasses his 2021-22 point total. Injuries slowed him down in his draft year, which allowed the Florida Panthers to scoop him up in the fourth round, but there was always the potential in him to become a top blue line prospect. He’s no Edvinsson, but he has the potential to be a break-out star for Sweden at this tournament.
- 2023 World Junior Championship Team Sweden Final Roster

One of the two Florida Panther prospects in the world junior tournament, starting on December 26th.
Jansson (rd 4, #125 '22) is a 6'0 176 lbs right handed shot defenseman.

Charlotte had a big come from behind win in overtime last night.

This evening they won 5-2, with Uens getting three assists.
