I just looked, the AHL playoffs are 4 division formats.
So Charlotte's division (Atlantic), the top two seeds receive a bye to the second round, which is out of five games. So either way they will definitely receive a bye. Seeds 3 to 6 play the best of 3 to determine who moves on. Just see if they finish in the one or two seed.

Really disappointed in Noel's development. His Draft+1 season was great, but since then, things seem to have really gone downhill with him.

Canadian Hockey League - Florida Panthers Prospects- May 1st



For a defensive defenseman, Haché finished the first round with a goal and 2 assists. His Kingston Frontenacs defeated the Oshawa Generals in 6 games.



Guzda is playing really good this playoff, but he might be playing hurt. He played the first three games of the series, before not appearing in Barrie's double-overtime loss in game 4 to the Steelheads. He was back in the net for game 5; posting a .950 SV% so far this series. Only series in the OHL Eastern Conference that is not yet finished. Mississauga is in Barrie tomorrow night for game 6.



The Edmonton Oil Kings swept the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-0 In their matchup. Sourdif finished the series with 3 assists.



Nause finished the final five games of the regular season scoring two goals and adding three assists.
